First of all, let me just say that I am not a dermatologist, and the choices I make are for my own body, so I respect what other people do with theirs. With that out of the way, I will share with you why I don’t think anyone should use sunscreen and hopefully provide access to enough scientific evidence to back it up and convince you to stop.

Before we get started, I’d like to state some basic facts, and I encourage you to research and test everything I say, that you doubt.  When you do your own research, your eyes will be opened to how bad things really are, and believe me when I say, we are only touching the surface here! 

Did you know that the Europe Union has banned and restricted 1300 chemicals used in the global cosmetic industry.  The US have banned and restricted the use of ONLY 11 of these chemicals. Did you know that in Europe you cannot buy any cosmetics manufactured in the US.  Ok what industrial sector do you think sunscreen falls under?  Well listen to this, the FDA treats sunscreens as an over–the-counter drug, meaning that the FDA standards are much higher than for cosmetics.  The European Union treats sunscreen as cosmetics.  Can you see where I’m going with this?  We, in the US, regulate sunscreens more rigidly, but as you will see, we still fall drastically short when compared to Europe standards.
